TASTING NOTES:
Three Stags - “This robust blend is produced in a richer extractive style. Briary with layers of blackberry, bright red cherry, pomegranate, violets and balanced with a fleshy center and Amador regional earthy tones.” (57% Zinfandel, 17% Syrah, 15% Estate Petite Sirah, 5% Barbera, 4% Mixed Reds, 2% Mixed Port)

Zinfandel - “The smell of a fresh rain on a dusty road. Chocolate covered cherries abound in this red fruit wine. Cranberry mixed with mincemeat show through this extractive claret style ‘Old World Style Zinfandel’.“(95% Zinfandel, 3% Syrah, 2% Barbera)

TANGENTIALLY RELATED FACT to help make conversation over this wine:
Speaking of stags, in Hungarian mythology, Hunor and Magor found a white stag that led them to what would become Scythia, basically southeastern Europe and Central Asia. Once there, their descendants, the Magyars and the Huns, began to populate the area.
