We firmly believe that ‘the grapes make the wine.’ We like to say you can make a bad wine out of good grapes but you cannot make a great wine out of bad grapes. With our single vineyard varietals, the Rocking Z Zinfandel and Flaming J Petite Sirah, there are no winemaking or blending ‘tricks’ we can use to make the wine taste differently than what the grapes give us.“

Z Gundam, also known as Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, was the first direct sequel series to 1979’s Mobile Suit Gundam. Taking place 8 years after the events of the original, wherein the space-based and fascistic Zeon fought against the Earth-based Federation, the tables have turned. Or I guess, the shoe is on the other foot. The Federation have created a task force to keep the remnants of Zeon and the space colonies in check. This military group would be known as the Titans. However, the Titans have quickly grown corrupt, functioning more brazenly as oppressors than protectors.

Given that Amuro Ray and his mobile suit (giant robot) the RX-78 Gundam turned the tide of the war against Zeon and became a symbol of the Federation’s strength, the Titans try to make their own Gundams, only to have them all stolen by rebels (known as the AEUG) and a boy named Kamille Bidan. Over time, Kamille, like Amuro, becomes an ace pilot with his MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam while being mentored by Zeon’s own former ace Char Aznable.
