Sherry (Niagara) - “The Solera Cream Sherry has a brilliant amber and deep copper hue. With butterscotch and pecan aromas, the sweet salted nut and brown spice aromas carry a complex caramel accent. A sweet entry leads to a rounded, lush, moderately full-bodied palate with a lengthy, flavorful finish.” (AbV 16%, pH 3.20, TA 6.40 g/L, RS 17.00)

Port (Chambourcin) - “Deep, saturated ruby red hue. Currant, raisin, caramel, and chocolaty aromas. A rich, ripe entry leads to a moderately full-bodied palate and a slightly sweet finish with good depth of fruit and balanced acidity.“ (AbV 18.5%, pH 3.42, TA 6.90 g/L, RS 16…00)

Sherry originated using grapes grown near Jerez, Spain. In fact, sherry as a name is the anglicization of Jerez. In the province of Cádiz in Spain, there exists a designated Sherry Triangle between three cities. In the European Union, sherry can actually only legally come from this region, as the location has been deemed a protected designation of origin. Essentially, true sherry in the EU needs to be prepared, processed, AND produced there.
