About Browne Family, Gruet, & Primarius
Inspired by William Bitner Browne, proprietor Andrew Browne of Browne Family Vineyards is producing premium Washington wine, crafted with quality and enjoyment in mind.

Gruet was founded in 1984 and specializes in Methode Champenoise sparkling wines, highly regarded.

Primarius sources its grapes from the volcanic and sediment heavy soils of Oregon, its climate well matched to early ripening Pinot Noir, which they take full advantage of.

TASTING NOTES:
Rosé - “Beautiful peach color with aromas of roses and grapefruit the wine is crisp and bright with tons of fruity flavors of candied lime, rainier cherry and grapefruit juice cocktail. This is a fruit bomb with a clean and fruity finish…” (AbV 10.61%, pH 3.11, 6.7 g/L)

Pinot Noir - “Red fruit, cran-raspberry and orange blossom on the nose. Bright, juicy entry. Lively, fruit-forward mid-palate and smooth finish with soft tannins and moderate length.” (AbV 13.6%, pH 3.69, TA 5.39 g/L)

Blanc de Noirs - “Pale salmon in color, this full-bodied wine has a fine mousse and a creamy, rich texture. Complex aromas and flavors of raspberry, baked pear and cherry are complemented by a hint of toasted vanilla. The balance of fruit, minerals and crisp acidity lead to a round mouthfeel and lasting finish.” (AbV 12%, pH 3.12, RS 0.8 g/L)

BARRELS:
Rosé - 5 months in stainless steel.

Pinot Noir - 8 months in 95% French oak and 5% American oak.

Blanc de Noirs - 18 months en Tirage.

PAIRS WITH (winery recommended):
Rosé with salty snacks like crackers, chips and salsa, corn nuts or mixed nuts. Pinot Noir and Blanc de Noirs pair well with food in general.
