TASTING NOTES:
“The nose is instantly alluring. One expects from your basic Grenache a simple strawberry aroma, but here we have in support of its bright fruitiness an intriguing collection of melon, droughty ‘garrigue’ herbs, saddle leather and Asian spice. The mouth is medium-bodied with fine tannins and energetic minerality.” (AbV 14%, pH 3.73, TA 6.7 g/L)

I tried to figure out what the deal is with Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and fell down a rabbit hole of regulating global time and frequency transmissions. Greenwich Mean Time was originally used by British mariners. Then it was adopted by railway companies in Great Britain. Then it was adopted by more of the country until it became the standard. GMT is often conflated with UTC, Coordinated Universal Time, which is the actual standard of time that the world uses. GMT is really just a time zone, though. Also, the daily rotation of the Earth is getting slower over time. That’s not entirely relevant, but it’s something interesting.
