@knlprez I am in Thornton and would be happy to split cases! I make it to Denver regularly and have an office in Fort Collins that i go to a couple times a week.
I’m off of Parker and Quincy. Splitting a case will get me in less trouble with the wife, so this will be good! And there was never a CO meetup on woot (at least which I saw), I think we should change that!
@knlprez we had about 6 or so, but I seemed to be the one pushing for them, and after our kids were born, was harder to organize…
The early ones noted here
I’m in Broomfield as well. I too am overloaded with wine right now - especially after adding yet another case of Wellington … But there are times a case is just too much and I wouldn’t mind splitting.
Conifer here. Bought way too much wine for several years on WW; been less active in the past few years as we drink down the cellar! Definitely interested in sharing cases here and there.
Sounds like a lot of us are in the same boat. Our cellar overflowed in January with Wellington, now our two offsite lockers are full and wine is again accumulating in the closets… We have a major drinking problem, we do not drink it fast enough!
I’m sure something will come up we can/will want to split 4 or 6 ways, it always does!
@knlprez This type of comment cracks me up, because I live in a small apartment and my “cellar” is the bottom shelf of the kitchen pantry. It’s full at about 15 bottles.
I was in your boat a few years ago, had an 8 bottle wine cooler and a small rack on the counter in my apartment. Picking up a case would max out the ‘cellar.’ My oh my how it has spiraled out of control… I blame woot 100%.
@jasisk I’ve convinced myself we should do a 1000 bottle cellar when we move. That gives 10 years of aging drinking 100/year. It really is out of hand!
I’m in Congress Park and am definitely down to split cases.
Like many others, I’m pretty full of Wellington, but would like to mix it up a bit. Plus, I’ve found that pretty much all of my Wellington needs to age more, with the exception of the 2011 cab sauv.
@knlprez I’ve had a couple bottles of the Morhardt Ridge, which are drinking well but could probably sit another year or so. I have three more bottles of it, so I’ll probably space them out over the next two years. I’m pretty new to studying wine, so take what everything I say with a grain of salt, but I’m surprised how even the 2012 zins need more time. I had a 2012 syrah last week and it was much better on the second and third day than the first.
I was lucky enough to get a 2001 Wellington zin and it was one of the best bottles I’ve had in years.
@Sonorguy I am no expert either, just trying to learn what I can! We had a bunch of the 2010 Mohrhardt ridge cabs and they are great, I think we have 6 left and trying to hang on to them. The 2010 Hulen is the same vineyard as the Mohrhardt is now I think, and those are in their sweet spot right now for me, really great wine.
I like how all of Peter’s wines age well, and it’s fun to taste the changes. The problem is they are very good young so it’s tough to hang on to them!
We should have an event where we first post inventories and then do our own swapping. I have a lot of stuff which didn’t come from woot and I suspect others do as well… Might be a fun way to try something new and not shell out a case price in doing so…
@jasisk Great idea! I have kept my inventory on a Vivino app on my phone - will spend some time to catalog and get it into cellar tracker - however I don’t have nearly the collection you do - 150 bottles of so, but not nearly the breadth you’ve got… it was fun to view it!
@knlprez I’ll need to learn to check this thread before I buy next time - I’m already in for 4 - not all that interested in this wine though - if someone want some of them, ping me!
@knlprez@jvo@jasisk – FedEx says this should be delivered tomorrow (which probably really means I’ll have to head over to the distribution center this weekend). Y’all can email me at ariellt87@gmail.com to coordinate.
@jasisk had I not panicked when the cases initially sold out, before they made more available, I would have been in … but now I have my own case on the way … not a bad problem to have, I guess
@g0lf sweet. I’ll be in touch… not sure how, exactly. Was going to try contacting you via cellartracker, but your link wasn’t static, so just showed my cellar.
@bolligra@CObrent@Sonorguy
Looks like we should do another split? Between you three we have 8 bottles, and I’d take the additional 4 if someone else bought another case. Thoughts?
I’m down with whatever - committed to 2 with knlprez, but can do a few more if people have space issues, or stick with my 2 - just whisper a pick-up site to me and I’ll be there - 2 or 4
@bolligra@CObrent@Sonorguy
It won’t let me buy another case, but I’m fine with keeping all 12 bottles from mine if CObrent wants to split with someone else, and would even grab a few from that case as well if needed. My wife didn’t want to give away too many…
Did anyone in CO get the Gruet mixed case and either hate it, have too many, or just want to be nice? More specifically the Sauvage . I’m in Littleton but will drive.
Is there a newer thread for Denver-area / Colorado folks to organize case splits? I just purchased a case of Peterson Barbera. I am happy to part with up to 6
@jasisk Hi Joel, no this is the thread. However, what usually happens is someone posts directly in that days thread about splitting rather than posting in this one. As for this wine, I purchased a 4-pack earlier this morning or I would be in with you, too late to cancel, sorry. Rick
Anyone in Denver? Looking for some peeps to split some cases!
@knlprez I am in Thornton and would be happy to split cases! I make it to Denver regularly and have an office in Fort Collins that i go to a couple times a week.
@knlprez Yes! I’m off Havana and Alameda
Me
In Lowry
Also Me, I live on Tower-I70.
I’m up in Fort Collins. I visit Denver a couple times a month, so could easily work out splitting a case sometime.
I’m down south near Monument, but I also travel to Denver pretty regularly.
I’m in S.E. Aurora
I’m off of Parker and Quincy. Splitting a case will get me in less trouble with the wife, so this will be good! And there was never a CO meetup on woot (at least which I saw), I think we should change that!

@jasisk I didn’t really become active until 2013-2014. Better late than never though!
@jasisk I’m impressed we can quote like that - w/ the links too!
Westminster.
bolligra here. I’m at the northern tip of Broomfield, willing to share even though I have way too much wine and tapped out my $$$ in December!
Meaning I’ll probably be pretty selective for a while.
I’m in Broomfield as well. I too am overloaded with wine right now - especially after adding yet another case of Wellington … But there are times a case is just too much and I wouldn’t mind splitting.
Boulder here. I’ll split. Super glad to see this coming back to life; the firehose of wine that Wine.woot turned into made me less interested.
@kgw7821 it made me broke!

@arielleslie It is a true first world problem!

@arielleslie same here. if you didn’t see my post on w.w - started with a “normal person” stash of having 4-6 bottles on hand at a time… now over 700
@jasisk
@jasisk Yow! And I thought I had been gathering too much at 200+ bottles!
@jasisk I’ve convinced myself we should do a 1000 bottle cellar when we move. That gives 10 years of aging drinking 100/year. It really is out of hand!

@Sonorguy Which cab? Just the regular non-vineyard? We’ve had a few of those and they are drinking well now.
@knlprez I’ve had a couple bottles of the Morhardt Ridge, which are drinking well but could probably sit another year or so. @g0lf many of us that were on the w.w forums (fora?) used to have our cellartracker links in our sig. Mine is http://www.cellartracker.com/list.asp?iUserOverride=41346&Page=0 and only 2 months out of date, but that included about 10-12 cases in the w.w closeout
@jasisk I wonder if we will be able to put a signature on here as well? My cellar is a few cases behind but here it is:
https://www.cellartracker.com/user.asp?iUserOverride=343806

@knlprez Finally got my modest inventory into Cellar Tracker: https://www.cellartracker.com/list.asp?table=List#selected%3DW1418322_3_Kc04a5eaef61dc16bb1fdee54d57d3bd9
@g0lf I think you need to update the link (or since no edit, repost)… find the url with user.asp?iUserOverride=
Live in Boulder, work in downtown Denver. Up for splitting cases if the wallet and wine allow.
@lurkerdan Any preference on which types?!
Anyone buying the first offering?
@knlprez I think I’m gunna.
@arielleslie The wife would kill me if I bought the case, but let me know if you order and want to offload 2 or 3.
@knlprez If other people want to go splitsies, I could be down with that. Even half a case strains my where-the-hell-do-I-put-it capabilities.
@arielleslie put me down for 3. Did you ask on the sale thread?
Anyone else want in?
@knlprez Just put out the call. Cross your fingers.
@knlprez I’m game for 1, or possibly 2, if it helps make this happen.
@knlprez I would take 1 or possibly 2 to help the cause… but I’m not sure this is my preferred wine profile.
@knlprez Also, I suppose we all are anyway, but when we do these splits, probably worthwhile to ensure that whomever does the actual order is a VMP
@jasisk that’s a good point. Doesn’t make sense to pay for the shipping if we don’t need to!
@knlprez I’ll need to learn to check this thread before I buy next time - I’m already in for 4 - not all that interested in this wine though - if someone want some of them, ping me!
@knlprez @jvo @jasisk – FedEx says this should be delivered tomorrow (which probably really means I’ll have to head over to the distribution center this weekend). Y’all can email me at ariellt87@gmail.com to coordinate.
@arielleslie sent you an email on Wednesday. Just mentioning it here in case it went to your spam folder.
@jvo Thanks. Found it.
@arielleslie thanks for a smooth meet up/pick up transaction!
I’m in Denver too! Wouldn’t mind splitting cases as well.
@midstarrynight Wanna jump in with some of us on this one?
@arielleslie hmm this wine was not one I was dying to try. Just wanted to join in the thread just in case for the future!
Not this time around. I have the poor.
@darkzrobe last month was tough!
Longmont (LOCO) here. In for splitting on occasion.
I just purchased the KR mixed case. I could stand to part with a few bottles. Let me know if you are interested.
@jasisk had I not panicked when the cases initially sold out, before they made more available, I would have been in … but now I have my own case on the way … not a bad problem to have, I guess
@jasisk I’d be in for 2 of each
@g0lf sweet. I’ll be in touch… not sure how, exactly. Was going to try contacting you via cellartracker, but your link wasn’t static, so just showed my cellar.
@jasisk Perhaps this link is correct? https://www.cellartracker.com/list.asp?table=List&iUserOverride=570929#selected%3DW1339427_1_K7c9ff81d9209e721e8d3c7801c18c815

I capitulated on the Zaca whites… if anyone wants to grab a couple, let me know.
@jasisk I’m in for 2 … I have been debating it, but wasn’t wanting 4 or more just to try.
City Park Denver area here. Up for splitting cases from time to time.
I purchased a case of the SH mountain zin. I’d be willing to let a few go if someone was interested, just let me know!
@knlprez I’ll take 3 if you still have some to spare
@bolligra @CObrent @Sonorguy
Looks like we should do another split? Between you three we have 8 bottles, and I’d take the additional 4 if someone else bought another case. Thoughts?
@bolligra @CObrent @knlprez
Works for me if everyone else is fine with it!
@bolligra @knlprez @Sonorguy
I’m down with whatever - committed to 2 with knlprez, but can do a few more if people have space issues, or stick with my 2 - just whisper a pick-up site to me and I’ll be there - 2 or 4
@bolligra @CObrent @Sonorguy
It won’t let me buy another case, but I’m fine with keeping all 12 bottles from mine if CObrent wants to split with someone else, and would even grab a few from that case as well if needed. My wife didn’t want to give away too many…
@CObrent @knlprez @Sonorguy Well, I’m fine with none at all, I have plenty of SH. Or if it helps make something work, I’ll still take some. Either way.
@CObrent @knlprez @Sonorguy Wouldn’t mind buying some just to meet a couple of local CM folks!
Anyone want to split a case of the current offer? I’m in Fort Collins but I’ll happily drive down to Denver.
I’m always up to split some cases. I’m in S.E. Aurora.
Did anyone in CO get the Gruet mixed case and either hate it, have too many, or just want to be nice? More specifically the Sauvage . I’m in Littleton but will drive.
Guess not!
@COSharon The Rose’ will be here Wednesday!
@COSharon Great splitting with you!
Anyone up for a split of the Gruet Rose? Ideally I would take 4 - 6 bottles. I’ll order, just let me know!
Is there a newer thread for Denver-area / Colorado folks to organize case splits? I just purchased a case of Peterson Barbera. I am happy to part with up to 6

@jasisk Hi - I would take two…I’ve traded with other Denver folk several times already - thanks! Brent
Howdy folks, Joel here again. I got a case of Laura Michael. Happy to share a few…
@jasisk Hi Joel, assuming you got the expedited shipping with ice packs, I’ll take 4 or however many you wish to part with. Rick
@bolligra sounds good. I’ll let you know when they come in
Anyone want to split the Lost Eden Saperavi that is on today?
@darkzrobe
Did you ever get a taker for this?
@Kyeh I got one. Trying to upgrade from 6 to 12. If that works I will have more to spare.
@darkzrobe I’m interested in a few if you do; thanks.
