I am more about @Grenachista, Tercero and @WineSmith myself. Guessing no BE since I don’t think they ship to OH and this offer does. Of course, a mystery offer like this might bend some previously rigid rules? They’ll probably get away with it too, if they can avoid those meddling kids!
@CruelMelody you called it! The ones shared so far were all on the UC sale. But I don’t think WD is helping the company that took over sell the wine but rather purchased the bottles then resold them on here. Can’t say I blame the man!
Not sure there is much (Any) “bad” Grenache out there from producers often seen on this site. But sour memories of the much-hated ill-fated unanticipatedly-bad international case of mystery still linger.
@cdgrimm@losthighwayz@pmarin That Two Jakes mystery case turned me off of any mystery cases. Holy cow! I just bit the bullet and dumped them all down the drain.
@pmarin Agreed on the Two Jakes, that Roman Reserve literally lingers. I had one of three that was drinkable. Made the mistake of giving one as a hostess gift over the holidays (after the first one was drinkable); my wife still give me a hard time about that poor life choice. I tried one in sauce and it turned out well. So at least I don’t have to pour them down the drain.
@cdgrimm@losthighwayz@pmarin@Winedavid49 In Wine David I trust! I’ve had great experiences with past mysteries and am in for 2 cases again! Hoping for lots of variety!!

The wine racks are kind of full, but I’m in for a 3-pack, even at the steep price differential compared to case. Not thinking I could find mate or two to split a mystery case. I doubt that even $17 for a $30-ish Grenache will disappoint. I do love me Rhones and Rhone Rangers.
@tercerowines Mr cryptic. I know you have something coming - maybe even tonight. On my last bottle of the case of the case of - I think 2014 Grenache you had up several months back. Yeah the fruit still explodes in the air as I’m pouring. I don’t get it - but don’t mind!
Got three 2016 Parducci, three Meeker—1-2016–2-2017. And all others were different. So excited to taste them throughput the upcoming years. Thank you for all of the mystery fun!
(3) Parducci, (2) Meeker and (1) each of 7 different bottles. Wasn’t expecting anything more than some decent Grenache at a great price, so I am perfectly happy with this selection.
@chipgreen@CorTot@rjquillin
I did go back and buy a case of Ocelli (Art den Hoed and Upland Vineyards) after John said he may go back and buy back some of his own wines as they were for sale cheaper than his cost to produce. They are great. It was too hard to pass up.

Any of this broken earth grenache? Trying to decide between 1 and 2 cases and if it’s BE it’ll be 2 cases for sure!

Uhm, yes please!

Grenache? Did someone say Grenache? Not I - but there might be some other Rhones soon
@tercerowines bring on the Mourvèdre!
@klezman or something else . . .
@tercerowines Hope that includes white varieties!

Definitely curious if WD is helping to sell some of the UC surplus here! Probably in for a case but I’m gonna sleep on it
@CruelMelody you called it! The ones shared so far were all on the UC sale. But I don’t think WD is helping the company that took over sell the wine but rather purchased the bottles then resold them on here. Can’t say I blame the man!
I said, I’ll wait till morning, then next thing I knew

I would like more of the Staysail. That is some delicious juice
Tempted, but no room left, and still waiting on the last mystery offer.

@pmarin for me it’s memories of the terrible Two Jakes mystery case
@losthighwayz @pmarin Ditto for me. I still have three bottles or so of the Roman Reserve I haven’t thrown away yet!
@cdgrimm @losthighwayz @pmarin
Fair. But I can assure, this is an above ground deal.
@cdgrimm @losthighwayz @pmarin That Two Jakes mystery case turned me off of any mystery cases. Holy cow! I just bit the bullet and dumped them all down the drain.
Yes, I’m traumatized. PTSD and a twitch.

@pmarin @TK4TWO1 Opened one last night. Looks like a good one. So that’s three out of 4.

I buy a lot of Grenache, I’ll bite.

@CorTot work got in the way further south;
likely better off that way anyhow
Dang. Would have been in for a case, but they’re gone again.
You snooze, you lose. I lost 'cuz I snost.
I was just thinking of 3 but they’re gone. Oh well.
dangit.
Sold out? So not all of you could score some? No worries - more wine ahead
@tercerowines always liked your stuff, so… looking forward to it. even if it’s a mystery.

Any chance more will be available today?
I would have jumped at this if I had hope of recovering my smell/taste, but that may not happen, so no more ordering for now.
Love Meeker, so excited I got 6 of those. Also like grenachista!! Rest will be a fun new experience!!
Not sure what’s up with the random bottle of Syrah but I like those too!
Great selections!

@chipgreen I picked up at least a mixed case of Meeker from the UC close-out. Don’t recall any of it was Grenache however
@chipgreen @rjquillin I picked up the Meeker roses at a pretty killer price, fun labels and bottlings too. Both types I bought have been delicious.
@CorTot @rjquillin
I did buy a full case of Pink Elephant from the UC sale after buying back my own bottles!

Awesome selection, I feel like I made out like a bandit!
PANS! GLANDS! CRAYONS! AWESOME!
Bah, my order got botched by UPS,
no delivery attempts, returned to sender.
