This Demi-Sec encompasses both the finesses of a well-made Méthode champenoise sparkling wine and the playfulness of an everyday, slightly sweet libation. The Demi-Sec is one of the Brides Magazine Top Ten Wedding Wines but pairs well with all of life’s special occasions. It is a perfect balance of delicate sweetness and refreshing acidity.

This 100% Chardonnay wine contains zero dosage – a sugar/water mixture that determines the sweetness levels of sparkling wine – making this sparkler bone-dry and crisp. Pale straw in color with a delicate but persistent mousse, this Blanc de Blancs boasts a pleasant minerality on the nose and bright citrus on the palate.
Pair with oysters, sushi, and cream sauce pasta dishes.

Excited by the Gruet offer than less excited when I tread it. The Gruet Brut Nature is good and I don’t find it in by me. The Demi Sec on this offer makes me not interested. Two opposite sparkling, one dry and one sweet. If you have that mix of taste profiles this is the perfect offer for you. Tthe Gruet price point is $13.99 by me. If this offer didn’t contain the Demi Sec I would’ve bought a case or two.

Yikes! Chapped-ragged-wound doesn’t sound very appealing, so not including any v-mojis for that! But as a dependable buyer of Gruet over the years, I’m sure I’ll find a way to use the Demi-Sec. None of my case will go to waste. Another rhyme!

Not a big fan of any sweet wines, other that say dessert wines.
