A dry and effervescent sparkling wine with notes of lemon, elderflower, and bergamot. Expertly made in small batches from sustainably farmed grapes with no sugar and minimal intervention â the real way.
A refreshing bubbly for special occasions or any occasion. Usual Brut is light, effervescent, and satisfyingly crisp. For optimal results, serve chilled and sip straight from the bottle.

Tasting Notes
Enjoy our first aged sparkling wine. Using an extended Charmat method to capture natural carbonation for a finer bubble and silkier mouthfeel, Brut Reserve is a truly elevated experience. Bright, yet bold, with no added sugar and an entire year of flavor development and texture.
Tart lemon flavors mature into bright lemon cake notes with hints of buttery brioche crust. Fresh pineapple notes evolve into roasted pineapple with touches of caramelization. A real treat for special occasions at every occasion.

Wine great enough to drink every day needs a perfect by-the-glass bottle. At 6.3 oz., each bottle gives you a fresh, full glass (and candidly, a bit more). The wine itself is seasonally made in small batches, not in vats mixed with sugar and chemicals. You know what they say about good thingsâŠ

Brut Rose-
Very pretty salmon color, medium to fine mousse. Citrus/?honeysuckle on the nose.
First sip cold out of fridge is peach/berry. Nice acidity, fairly well balanced. Decently long finish. Good mouth feel. Not particularly complex, just a very nice glass of bubbles. 110 cal 2.2 carbs x 1.25 servings in the bottle for those keeping track
Large Glass of Brut-
Light yellow, medium mouse. Not much nose. Acidic and bright/lively. Lemon and other citrus on the palate. Not yeasty or bready at all. Would make a lovely French 75. Also would be very refreshing on a hot night. 110 cal, 2.2 carbs x 1.25 servings in the bottle for those keeping track
Reserve Brut
Light yellow, medium mousse
Yeasty/citrusy nose,
Less acidic than regular brut. Smoother. Not as much bread on the palate as the nose. The bready notes come out as it warms up. There is no cal or carbs listed on this bottle, so I would assume this has higher residual sugar, though itâs still dry.
All in all, these are all very drinkable, at least 2 are lower carb, and I very much enjoyed them when I got them from Meh on the first offering. I was sad when I ran out, so will be buying more this time.
I was considering, but the following killed it for me.
âMix of 3 Bottles â May include any combination of the 3 types and may not be evenly split. Youâll most likely get at least 1 6-pack of each, but no guaranteesâ
We really liked these when offered here in the past. We would rarely finish an entire full-sized bottle of bubbly when opened, so these are great for a single glass at a time.
@knlprez They look to be too small to try that. Iâm all for sabering, but this looks like a great way to see the ER doc to remove a lot of glass from your hand.
How much more are you saving by buying a full case (187mL, 36 vs. 18)?
(Note: tax and shipping are not included in savings calculations.)
Usual Sparkling Mix - $15 = 10.71%
@Drez143
They arenât corked so you can just leave them in the boxes they come in and stash them where ever, but keep one of each in the fridge for bubble âemergencies.â
My wife and I are fans of Champagne and dry sparkling winesâdefinitely not the sweet, high-residual sugar types. I agree completely with the review by mtb002 regarding the taste and characteristics of each variety. This sparkling wine is exceptionally drinkable, and at its price point, it easily outshines what youâll find at your local grocery store.
We shared a bottle with a friend, and their first reaction was about the packagingââThatâs a cool bottle, like a science beaker!â Itâs definitely eye-catching and would be a great conversation starter at a party, on a picnic, or even on a date. The presentation adds a fun, modern twist.
That said, while the unique bottle format has its appeal, itâs actually the reason Iâm not purchasing a full case. If I had a party with my friends, think 36 bottles for 36 glasses. But from a practical standpoint, itâs not ideal for storage. Iâve custom-built shelving in our basement fridge to store Champagneâ3 shelves, 4 bottles wideâand these just donât fit the setup. For me, function wins over novelty.
But as an addition, this seems great. Sometimes when we want just a little wine, weâll be able to finish off the 750mL in the subsequent day or 2; but sometimes we wonât, and these will be handy. And for gift baskets and care packages for folks that arenât big wine drinkers. And sometimes, with guests or just us, we need just a little more wine, and bubbles almost always works for that. Sometimes before the main meal/wine, and sometimes after.
And sometimes I put on little wine events, and these will be handy for pre-measuring out some portions.
I like the chemistry/beaker vibe. Like Iâve carefully measured out exactly how much wine is needed. âThis much for you!â
Certainly, if storage is tight and tricky, these would not be efficient.

My quick mental math tells me a 36 pack is akin to 9 750 ml bottles so $14/bottle
Theyâre certainly eye-catchingâŠ
Honestly, I love the portions

@mtb002 same price on meh?
@losthighwayz
Iâll have to look it up
Meh price was $50 for a 12 pack, so this is cheaper.

I think the presentation is eye catchy and fun and will maybe impress on a date night, thatâs my intent.
In for a case.

These might be interesting to try to open via saber

How in the world do you store these?!?!

In for 36 based on last purchase of these and the excellent rattage.

@ChiWineOne I certainly wouldnât want these to replace my normal sparkling queue, which consists of 750 mL Trader Joeâs Brut and RosĂ© as well as some more vaunted bottles for more vaunted times.
But as an addition, this seems great. Sometimes when we want just a little wine, weâll be able to finish off the 750mL in the subsequent day or 2; but sometimes we wonât, and these will be handy. Looks very interesting, needed a restock on my bubbly supply⊠Kinda wish it was full sized bottles, but Iâll take it!

Summer is coming, the last ones I ordered from Meh were a hit in my house and with everyone in the friend/gifting circle, in for 36!
