About Brick Barn Wine Estate: “Norman and his wife Kathleen were drawn to the idea of growing grapes—and ultimately making wine. They saw immense promise in their land, and they knew that its distinct location could create exceptional wines. In 2012, they planted 35 acres. The specific varieties were chosen for their synergy with the estate’s unique growing conditions, and because both Norman and Kathleen were passionate about them.”

What even is a tarnation? Well, a tarnation is what happens when people might’ve started to get touchy about the word you specifically chose to replace an even touchier word. We all know that darn came from people skirting around saying damn, right. And just as damnation exists, so too did darnation at some point. This sounded stupid, however. That or someone felt darn was still a tad bit offensive. So, they tweaked it a little more into tarnation and badabing, badaboom, you got a shiny new swear.
