About CORE Winery
One might say that Dave Corey is the “core” of CORE Winery. And also the namesake.

Originally a Pest Control Advisor with Cambria Winery and Vineyards and later at Kendall-Jackson Vineyards of Santa Barbara County, he left in 1999 to create Vital Vines. With Vital Vines, he acted as a consultant to various vineyards promoting sustainable agriculture. Finally, he and his wife Becky committed to their own winery, originally formed in 2001. Since then, they’ve been working with great vineyards, fine winemaking, and several new wine projects. If you ever want to meet Corey himself, or you just happen to be in Old Orcutt, drop on by at CORE Winery’s own tasting room.
