TASTING NOTES:
Chenin Blanc - “Beautiful color, bright aroma of spring flowers and apricots. On the palate, fruity floral flavors with mildly nutty finish.” (AbV 13.8%, pH 3.3)

Viognier - “Full bodied floral aroma. Classic flavor includes hints of tropical fruit, herbal notes and a clean finish.” (AbV 14.2%, pH 3.3)

BARRELS: Both in stainless steel and neutral oak.

PAIRS WITH: Pair the Chenin Blanc with fresh cheeses, prosciutto and sweet pea risotto. The Viognier with rich fatty foods.

THAT REMINDS ME OF: Daniel Craig doing a southern accent when he plays private detective Benoit Blanc in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out mystery movies. So far, there are two films.

In the first, Knives Out, Blanc is anonymously hired to investigate the death of novelist Harlan Thrombey, thought at first to be a suicide. He does so alongside Harlan’s nurse, Marta, who also happens to be the sole beneficiary of Harlan’s will, despite him having a large family who have been rather dependent on his wealth.

In the second, Glass Onion, he is once again “anonymously” hired to attend billionaire tech entrepreneur Miles Bron’s murder mystery party alongside several other influential people who have tied their success to Bron. However, most of them might also have reasons to want Bron dead, particularly the co-creator of his company Alpha, whom he and the others recently discredited and forced into stepping down. Suffice to say, someone’s gonna die.
