Accomplished businessmen and philanthropists, the two have a particular focus on the sustainability, protection, and preservation of the Hearst Ranch while continuing to produce wonderful wines.

TASTING NOTES:
“…beautifully soft and approachable. The color is dense and brilliant, and the nose offers notes of blueberries and lilac. On the palate, you will find this wine supple and rich with support from a subtle, yet regal tannin structure. Hints of medium plus toasted oak add depth and the firm acidity frames everything in for a well-composed delivery.” (AbV 14.1%, pH 3.73, TA 0.53 g/100mL)

Released in 1998, Swedish progressive metal band Opeth put out their third album, titled My Arms, Your Hearse. The title was actually taken from the lyrics of “Drip, Drip” by obscure 70’s British folk band Comus. Another neat little fact: each song ends with the name of the next song in the lyrics. For example, the last word of “April Ethereal” is “when,” and the next song is simply titled “When.”
