Adding Cinsault to Injury

TASTING NOTES:
“…an atypical rich and intense Cinsault that explodes strawberry and spiced rhubarb pie in the glass. The 2013 vintage produced fruit with higher tannin levels, giving a bigger structure and more midpalate weight. The big red fruit is nicely balanced with white pepper and a hint of ‘Rhone meatiness.’”

TANGENTIALLY RELATED FACT to help you make conversation over this wine:
The phrase “to add insult to injury” is believed to have originated with the Roman fabulist (apparently a storyteller/story transcriber). Anyway, the story goes that a guy hit his own head trying to swat at a fly. In amusement, the fly replies, “You wished to kill me for a touch. What will you do to yourself since you have added insult to injury?” That fly was sassy.
