About Pech Merle Winery
Founded after a visit to Pech Merle (pesh-mael) in the Lot River Valley of France, Pech Merle Winery deals in Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, sourced from their ideal California AVA’s. In addition to those, they produce “black label” wines with a production cap of 175 cases of specialty Viognier, Oehlman & Bella Luna Pinot Noir, Alioto Zinfandel and Cabernet Franc. Winemaker John Pepe, with 40 vintages under his belt, is dedicated to creating luxury class wines recognized both by judges and patrons.
