TASTING NOTES: “Very fragrant! Passion fruit with floral notes of roses and honey spice. Flavors of tropical fruit, rich honey and a hint of grassiness follows. The refreshing finish is framed by mild acidity. The wine is light and crisp.“ (AbV 13.9%, pH 3.67, TA 0.70 g/100mL)

THAT REMINDS ME OF: Episode 10, Part B from the first season of SpongeBob Squarepants, titled “F.U.N.”

First aired on September 18th, 1999, this was the second major appearance of Plankton, the microscopic, evil owner of the shoddy Chum Bucket restaurant that sits across the street from the popular Krusty Krab, SpongeBob’s workplace. Plankton, as established in his first appearance, believes that if he were to acquire the recipe for the Krabby Patty, he could make the more successful restaurant. His attempts never come to fruition, however, and this gets him down. Believing that his actions are out of loneliness rather than greed and malice, SpongeBob decides to befriend Plankton in a bid to help him out. He does so with a song.

Seemingly swayed by SpongeBob’s positive influence, the two get along swimmingly until Mr. Krabs shows the truth behind Plankton’s sudden receptiveness.
