Mother, Maiden and Clone

TASTING NOTES:
Zinfandel - “Our Mother Clone is a classic ‘Dry Creek’ Zinfandel with aromas of ripe blackberries and a touch of warm baking spices. This Zin is plump with jammy berry flavors combined with a touch of black pepper spice and notes of vanilla, and toasty oak. The spicy-berry dynamic so typical of Dry Creek Zin combines round tannins and a long, spicy finish which are a hallmark of our style.” (AbV 15%, pH 3.74, TA 0.574 g/100ml)

Pinot Noir - “Aromas of rose petals, pomegranate and a touch of nutmeg greet the nose. A velvety light body embraces the hints of strawberry and plum fruit with spicy toasted oak notes. The wine has bright acidity, a smooth long finish and is balanced with mild tannins.” (AbV 13.5%, pH 3.68, TA 0.560 g/100ml)

Cab Franc - “There’s a fragrant bouquet of cherry, mint and warm spice followed by flavors of red cherry, spicy oak, nutmeg and a touch of vanilla, all coming together nicely. The lasting finish is framed by medium tannins with notes of dried herbs, toast and spice.” (AbV 14.5%, pH 3.60, TA 0.760 g/100ml)

BARRELS:
Zinfandel aged 12 months in 30% new American oak. Pinot Noir aged 8 months in French oak barrels. Cabernet Franc aged 14 months in new and seasoned French oak.
