You know what’s crazy? What you see on the surface of a mirror does not exist on the surface of a mirror.

Okay, maybe when I put it like that it’s obvious. It’s just how a mirror works. When you look at yourself in a mirror, you aren’t literally projected onto the mirror. The mirror isn’t taking your picture or something like that. But, BUT. Think about how two people looking at each other using a mirror see different images despite looking at the same thing. Isn’t that crazy? Something exists that looks different to each person depending on who is looking at it from where.

Well, okay, maybe it isn’t the mirror itself that looks different. The mirror is just a flat, shiny surface. But the image it shows you is! And that’s not all, because the image has been turned inside-out! Not physically. You don’t see your insides in a mirror. But your left hand becomes a right hand! Freaky! I’m not a physicist.
