TASTING NOTES:
“Complex and yet approachable, the Slingshot North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon has a bouquet of ripe forest fruits, tobacco and vintage leather. The palate is dark and textured with notes of dark chocolate, blueberry, and plum that balance the acidity and chewy tannins. The lingering finish of subtle French oak will have you scrambling for more!” (AbV 14.5%, pH 3.8, TA 5.65)

45% new French oak. Cabernet harvested October 2017 and released April 2019.

In 1997, Eiichiro Oda began his serial comic One Piece following the adventures of young pirate Monkey D. Luffy as he attempts to travel the world and find the titular treasure that would make him Pirate King. Along the way, Luffy gathers a varied crew of odd yet skilled individuals to help him reach this goal, including an expert marksman (favoring a slingshot) named Usopp. At one point, however, Usopp nearly quits the crew when they are forced to abandon their previous ship.

They are then joined by a man claiming to be the King of Snipers from Sniper Island who also happens to use a slingshot.

Luffy, the oblivious knucklehead he is, fails to realize that Sogeking is just Usopp in a wooden mask.
