TASTING NOTES: “The 2021 vintage produced a concentrated and bold Cabernet Sauvignon featuring characters of strawberry rhubarb pie, black pepper, clove, and fresh blueberry. The palate leads to flavors of baked fig, mild cigar box, and blackcurrant framed by a bold, gravely tannin structure provided by a 10% blend of Petite Sirah. A touch of oak finishes the palate with an elegant balance between tannin, acidity, and body.” (AbV 14.5%, pH 3.79, TA 5.12 g/L)

So the Polaris Slingshot is some sort of weird motorcycle. Given that it has three wheels, though, it feels like neither a motorcycle nor car. Two wheels in the front, one wheel in the back. It doesn’t have any doors. It doesn’t have any windows. It doesn’t have a roof. The interior is waterproof, with holes in the bottom to drain water. There are seatbelts, but no airbags or crash zones for safety. In some states, you have to wear a motorcycle helmet, despite it being more like sitting in a car than on a motorcycle. Some three-wheelers tilt when cornering, simulating the movement of a motorcycle for balance. These ones do not tilt.

Why is it called a Slingshot? Probably because of the triangular design with two wheels up front, like the frame of a slingshot, perhaps while the back wheel is like the sling.
