TASTING NOTES:
White - “Complex, aromatic, scintillating white wine. The nose is bright, pure, focus and explodes with notes of lemongrass, meyer lemon, yellow grapefruit, pear, jasmine, chalky soil, sea breeze salinity. Makes you want to just keep smelling it! The palate displays saline character, layers of citrus, green apple and white peach. Excellent balance between texture, minerality, freshness and long finish. It is brisk and mouth watering.“ (AbV 12%, Colombard Sauvignon Blanc)

Rosé - “Pale salmon color. The nose offers suggestions of watermelons, white nectarines, fresh raspberry, Mirabelle plums, and white flowers. Feels like summer in a glass. The palate is medium body and polished, with a textural elegance alongside salted minerals and saline notes. Notes of blood orange, pink grapefruit. The bright, long finish is clean and thirst quenching.” (AbV 12%, Tannat Cabernet Franc Merlot)

Ah, the 1974 classic Mel Brooks comedy Young Frankenstein. Sorry, that’s Fronkensteen. Fred Frankenstein, grandson of the mad scientist Victor Frankenstein, inherits his family estate in Transylvania, a large and eerie castle where his grandfather conducted his experiments. Frederick wants nothing to do with Victor’s infamous acts up until he actually has his secret lab notes in hand, after which he decides, what the hell, seems like fun. He is assisted by three weirdos in his endeavors: Igor (or Eye-gor), grandson of the very same Igor who once worked for Victor; Inga, an attractive yet strange lab assistant; and Frau Blücher, caretaker of the castle and former lover of Victor. Each have their own quirks, Frau Blücher’s being particularly memorable as the second someone mentions her name, horses cry out in fear. It’s unclear why, but she is a very imposing woman.
