I was digging thru my wines and found 1 bottle of Corison 2002 cab and 1 bottle of Quilceda Creek 2002 red wine. Should I open them tonight or keep holding them? Thanks.
I know nothing about the QC, but Corison in its late teens is right in the window for my tastes. Sure they’ll age more, and if you like the more mature profile you can certainly hold it longer. But there’s no need to wait.
@rjquillin
Suddenly I realized that might be taken wrong, that was not a shot at you Ron (even tho I do that often) it really meant there are no great wine only great bottles. God only knows the condition of any bottles so why take a chance if a wine is already in the drinking window, unless you have many.
I would drink em, better a day early than a day late!

@ScottW58 and @klezman Thanks! That is what I thought. So hard to be me tonight.
Just last week pulled a cork on a '92.
Not too early, but clearly not anywhere near too late either.
Scott will disagree…
@rjquillin
Haha even a blind squirrel gets an acorn once in a while

@ScottW58 From you!? However could that be?
I do have a few more, and I was curious.
I’ve been doing that a bit more lately.
Strange experience, to be sure.
