Additional options
0Thought - on many of the higher priced/higher end offerings the two options we are presented with is two bottles vs. a full case. What if there were three offerings? Two vs. (four or six bottles) vs. a full case? While I understand the higher price offerings may need to have a two bottle offering to entice people I think there may be some who want more than two bottles who might be enticed at a middle ground discount to jump in rather than only getting two bottles or getting four bottles at two orders of two bottles with no additional discount. Thoughts?

I’m not sure the economics of your suggestion work as favourable as you might think. The shipping cost to WD is much higher than the stated shipping, and that extra money kind of “makes it work out”. Although shipping 4 bottles is not twice as expensive as two bottles, I think.
@sammypedram @klezman
You can double up on the offers, so you can get 2 or 4 bottles (of today’s offer) and 1 or 2 cases but shipping (if you are paying for it) is also doubled.
WD wants us to find mates and split up the case. I know that doesn’t work for everyone but that is the concept.
Still Casemateless on Cape Cod
@foxrunner But how often do you get into Boston or other larger metro areas nearby? You should see how much wine changes hands at some SoCal gatherings…
@foxrunner @klezman On, in one memorable case, got Lost
But that’s only happened once.
Yes, many cases are exchanged, and consumed.
@klezman Most locals fear leaving the sandpile and are racked by a serious bridge phobia. I need to work more at the local level… spreading the gospel.
