Alabama is a state that you can ship to
0Many wine distributors say that our laws don’t allow for them to ship to us. WRONG! We just need to fill out a form and select the state store that we want to receive our wine in and then we are notified by that store when it arrives. We pay a small tax (like $1.08 for a case) and go pick it up. My favorite wine on woot was the Gruet bubbly. Please keep working with them. Thanks. Feel free to contact me…

Just tried to buy wine and you said the usual. FIX THIS!! It is easy!!!
@felkebg There are no wine distributors in our direct model. The system you’re describing sounds like 3-tier distribution which goes:
Winery—> Distributor—> Retailer—> Consumer
This is Winery—> Consumer
It is technically possible for Casemates as a platform to utilize 3-tier with a retailer in your state as the seller of record, but we are not in this case.
Please look at the form link I edited this original post with and tell me if you can work with it for the 4 million potential customers our state has for your products.
We could even fill our part in online for you and you could prefill your part for all customers. Easy peasy lemon squeezy
@felkebg I reviewed the procedures and it doesn’t surprise me that wineries aren’t set up to handle this except by special request. Technically, Winery-direct shipments are still prohibited in Alabama and this work-around doesn’t allow for tracking or returns.
