As the weather warms
1Maybe this has been addressed, and maybe I’m too lazy to read through all the topics that come up when I searched. How will shipping be handled as the weather warms up? CM is my first time purchasing wine via that mail. With delivery taking 7 to 10 days on average, will the temperature be taken into account when shipping? Is this something I need to pay personal attention to and stop ordering in a month or two?

We’ve had options in the past and hope to enhance them. It can be an issue.
Nice little cool front for the time being though.
@snapster cool? we were 88 today
@snapster @winedavid49 Any updates about how this will work in the casemates model as we’re heading towards summer? Looking at a case of Zeppelin but am concerned as the daytime temps are hitting the 90’s now.
Just got a case delivered in styro.
Nice touch this early.
@rjquillin Is this news that @WineDavid49 looks out for these sorts of issues? Not a perfect record, of course, but a damn good one.
@klezman @Winedavid49 And the Vio just came in styro as well. Been hot this week, so that is quite welcome actually. While we all know shipping costs are built into our price, it’s nice to not have the additional $5 “summer shipping” overtly charged.
A nice step up from the W00t! days.
@klezman @rjquillin @Winedavid49 dang, tempt me why don’t you. I’ll have to see what the 2 week forecast says. It’s bouncing between high 60’s-90s her.
@klezman @TechnoViking @Winedavid49 Well, I have bottles to share…
How many for you?
Got Klez down for at least one.
@klezman @rjquillin @Winedavid49 if your talking about Laurel Glen then sure, why not. Mark me down for 2. I’ll be coming back from SD with a case of wine in June, that’s for certain. Hehe thanks @rjquillin
