I know of a couple locals who are already Casemates, but starting what’s sure to be a lonely thread of other folks in the area who might want to buddy up on offers.
@jbartus Sorry, I was pretty lousy about following up with the thread I started. Replying solely to shamelessly bump this in your inbox to see if you & @sohmageek need help finding other suckers to split wine shipments.
@sohmageek I don’t THINK my other slacker friends actually went in for the kickstarter, but might have 1-2 other “suckers” who are looking to form a cohesive casemates posse.
@corrado last minute I didn’t do the remote party and stuck with my $60 pledge. With a kid at home I couldn’t justify the extra $100 if it was just my wife and myself. After seeing a few of the offerings I’m a little disappointed in myself but again it was $100 so not too bad.
@jcarmi04 My folks live in Randolph (I’m in the Burlington area), so there would be a potential for an Exit 4 encounter during a trip “home.”
Fair warning: my wine-purchasing has taken a dive since having kids, so I’m more likely to be the +1 or +2 to an order vs. being the Order Mule (yup, I just coined that phrase).
@corrado fair warning. I didn’t shop wine.woot… however I did get the first meh wine and it was awesome(actually I split a 6 pack with a co-worker)… I didn’t get the 2nd (stupid me) but i’m Likely to be a 1 or 2 bottle purchase rather than the whole case myself. Now if it’s ice wine… I may buy a case of that but we get that locally anyway…
Only just saw this thread. I am near St. Albans, and would be interested in doing splits if anyone in NW Vt wants to. I am fairly stocked up at the moment still, after the end of Woot- can you say, buy all the Wellington . But always willing to add to it, if something with good QPR turns up.
By the way, does anyone know if you can still ‘wootleg’, or is it now ‘mateleg’? for things not offered in Vt, which is too often the deal?
@drgonzo99 Unfortunately not this time. I’m moving in a few months so trying to drink down my cellar. But in the future, keep me in mind. I’m in southern VT.

I’ll attempt to resurrect this VERMONT thread! In order to see if there is a possibility to arrange Casemate deals to split cases in the future, I’d invite and encourage any interested Vermonters to post their locations here. It would help to generally know where people are, to see if splits would be reasonable.
I am just south of St. Albans myself. Where are you?

I am here! Yes this is the area I’m in btv area. I have a coworker that is joining too but I don’t think he’s on the forums.

I’m in southern Vermont, West Dover/Mount Snow… Smack-dab in the middle between Brattleboro and Bennington.
