@pmarin
Bengal breed, closest cat breed I’ve ever had that was dog like. Taught them to fetch glitter balls, followed me around like a dog. Enjoyed water and easily learned to walk on a leash.
@rc70 I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these. So cute! Literally a leopard cat! I was wondering how to get one. Ouch!
How much is a Bengal cat breed?
While the average range of a purebred Bengal cat is $1,500 – $3,000, Bengal kittens will likely cost much more. Buying a Bengal at a young age could cost you between $4,000 – $10,000. The high price makes choosing the right breeder crucial. Ask questions and meet in person with the breeder beforehand.
@rc70 You are absolutely right about the dog-like thing. Found this interesting site with lots of info. Apparently it was a relatively new cross-breed and first-generation required a wild-animal permit in the U.K!

Bengals make fabulous pets for experienced cat owners who love an active, curious and dog-like cat
I was joking about wanting a dog-like cat but now I really want this one! (or two – usually two is better but need to make sure they get along, sounds like they might be too agressive or territorial with each other)
Do hotdogs or bratwurst count?![:hotdog:](https://dj5zo597wtsux.cloudfront.net/joypixels/assets/6.6/png/unicode/64/1f32d.png)
Go for the brat.
I prefer border collies. They are simply magnificent.
@danandlisa
grew up with one in my single digits, couldn’t ask for better.
