Do you prefer when they call the barrels "used" or "seasoned?"

I prefer “neutral” but it wasn’t a choice

Nor was my preference, “moist.”

Seasoned sounds like a new barrel that’s seasoned so confusing

Neutral is a bit unclear because when is a used barrel considered neutral? Once, twice, thrice used?

The proper term is ‘crappy old’. As in:

… spent 16 months in crappy old French oak
