I voted for Burgundy but would take a Bordeaux region - I was HUGE into Loire wines and haven’t had any on hand in forever - also would go for Alsace (and who says no to champagne region)
Honestly I get so lost with foreign wines and there can be such a high and low price point it’s hard to navigate. Without winery or community feedback I’d have a hard time deciding if it was a good or bad buy. I’d love to see a larger mix of bordeaux, burgundy, tuscans/piemontes on the site.
I love the idea of more international wines on offer with Casemates. I agree with @deadlyapp. I’d love to see some wines from Tuscany on offer. And I never turn down a bubbly. Spanish Cava would be fun.
A Euro Petite Sirah/Durif would be fun if it came in at a case price in the $15-20 per bottle range. Or from anywhere else, for that matter-- we haven’t had one for a while.
I know a lot of international wines are not OH friendly, and they have to go through a distributor so winery interaction is almost non-existent, but if you could get winery participation from anywhere it makes me interested.
Anything that’s in my stylistic preference I’d be interested in. Traditional Rioja/Burgundy/Beaujolais, less ripe Bdx, Tuscany, and beyond. But trusted lab rats are essential given that there is so much plonk (to me that means low acid fruit bomb) out there as well. Especially in the cheaper ranges of, e.g., Spain and Italy.
Yes!
Ahhh, yes!
You had to even ask?
Yes, but I’d still like good winery participation.
@radiolysis
Not likely with foreign wines…
I voted for Mosel, but would have also voted Alsace or Pfalz, had one of those been up instead… of course, I’ll not complain about any of these!

maybe I am with the YES party!
Verona…something made using the appassimento method.
No tuscan wines?! For shame.

Rhone valley would be nice. Although Bordeaux (my first wine love) would be more than welcome, too.
In regards to the lack of Tuscany and Rhône, we’ve actually had one Tuscan so far, and we’ve got the Rhône Rangers of California at least!
All of the above plus Argentina and New Zealand
