I had some moments with FFXI + FFXIV. I have kids now, no more time for raids that take 1.5 hours. I’ll prolly get back into it when everything is VR MMO RPG like Ready Player One.
Old fashioned text based muds. Loved them, played them (Imm’d one) until long after WoW and Evercrack were taking over the internet gaming environment.
I liked the slower pace. The one I played longest (and imm’d on) is still out there, I haven’t been back since I retired though.
I still game online but not the bigguns, because I don’t really like how the graphics work (too old I guess, LOL)
Only video game I ever played was the original home pong game…because I worked on the assembly line at Atari, and had to make sure the consoles worked.
Now if we want to revisit x-com or starcraft I’m game.
Kings quest or space quest anyone?
Or ‘Adventure’; did hours/days/weeks with that one.
@rjquillin Oh, the dreaded “You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike”!
20 years of Everquest here!!
