Yup, just last Friday night, with @winedavid49 at his digs while feeding WineFarm’s sheep.
Among other bottles we opened a '07 @WineSmith Crucible that was easily WOTN.
Just got home and trying to work up some notes now for the Meritage, but already snagged a case.
When I was a kid, ca 1960, my family lived in Sonoma County. My father would drive up to this large brown barn, get out of the car, and walk in. My brothers and I, ages 4, 5 and 6 or so, would wait in the car. After a relatively short time, he would come out with a box containing 4, 1-gallon jugs of red wine, which he would drink over the next couple/few weeks. Then the process would repeat. Sure wish I knew who was making that wine.
Can we get a meh button here?
@connorbush Taken into consideration, though I would figure the tendency to select Meh will be high simply because it is Meh.
Best I can think of is a tasting room in a converted barn, but then is it still a barn?
