Back in the 70’s we were in a inflatable boat race. Won 1st in one division and 2nd in another. One of which was a lemans style that included inflating and assembling the boat. Even had our picture in the Columbus Dispatch.
Back in 60’s, yeah did a lot of quarter mile races, none of them on a race track, most of them on US 59 north of town….had a ‘66 Chevelle SS 396 cu 375 HP, never lost a race…loved growing up in the power car period…
@winecaseaholic Ah, fond memories of the mid-60s watching 1/4 mile races for pink slips out on Sonoma county back roads…the scene literally straight out of American Graffiti…in fact, some of the cars featured in the movie owned by locals were fairly frequently seen in drag races when I was in high school.

@yorkrk I was going to joke “boat racing?” we have any F1 drivers on casemates? I am out of me league.
