@danandlisa@jfuruno me three!
just drove back from Lincoln City yesterday; almost impossible to get back from the coast without touching Willamette valley. (unless you go up around Astoria)
@kawichris650 Highly recommended as a destination for a couple of days or a week. More if you want to combine it with visiting the Coast.
Walla Walla also a great destination but different wines and a more concentrated “wine tour” vibe since things are concentrated in a small town that’s largely built on the wine industry and wine tourism.
Our son went to college in Salem (very close to Willamette Valley Vineyards) for 4 years, then afterwards he worked near Lake O, so we were frequent visitors for a while.
In my backyard
@danandlisa me too!
@jfuruno where do you live?

@danandlisa @pmarin I live in SW Portland, but ironically I’m also in Lincoln City this weekend.
I hope to visit there someday.

We went for our honeymoon five years ago and loved it! We plan to go back in the next few years and possibly retire there.
@jchasma
We also spent time there on our honeymoon which was also five years ago. Maybe we saw you there.

My daughter and her family live in Eugene, so we’ve had several opportunities to taste the fruits of the region.
