@danandlisa@rjquillin@ScottW58 I had the best pork chop ever two nights ago in London. It was called a Tamworth rare breed pork chop. I think it had also been dry aged. They grilled it medium rare and smoky, and it was off the hook.
I think the American Pork Council must be livid with the categorization of it as a red meat. I mean, how many millions were spent for us to be told it was the other white meat? Yes, I have had Duroc and Berkshire, and it is completely different than your “white meat” in the stores.
I feel the only real answer to an American is beef. It is whats for dinner. I do enjoy venison, maybe even moreso than lamb, but I can see the results. I even enjoy some goat here and there.
If I had to pick one animal to eat for the rest of my life, it would still be a pig. (Perhaps followed by a chicken, prices and environmental stuff aside.)
Flannery
@rjquillin or Morgan Ranch

Yes! But sorry pork is the new white meat
@rjquillin @ScottW58 I like pork, but I could eat beef every day. Have you had Duroc bone in pork chops? They are divine.
@danandlisa @rjquillin
I have and I agree with you on the beef but there is nothing better than a proper pork chop!
