2I am having serious issues with FedEx. They are “pretend” attempting to deliver. I live in an apartment building. When they get to the door all they have to do is look up my name on the box and hit the call button. That calls my cell phone. They, on the other hand, show up one time and leave a tag without hitting the call button. So even though I have been home all day they never call…just leave the tag. Then they pretend that they tried multiple times and send it back. Most frustrating experience I have ever had because the call center ALWAYS believes the driver’s lies.

It’s very driver specific. When I lived in a less-than-stellar apartment complex in grad school, my FedEx guy occasionally pulled the phantom delivery BS.
Compare that to the one I have now, who may or may not have left a few packages without me signing, and gets a Christmas tip.
Exactly! The other delivery guys (UPS) tell me that one guy is so lazy and no one ever does anything about it. I hit the jackpot!
Deliver to your local FedEx office. They usually deliver there earlier in the day so less time in the back of the truck dealing with the weather.
which means I would have to walk over to get it and walk back with a case of wine
