I lost my bay plant a few years ago. I need to replace it. I never really learned how to utilize it fresh, but of course I had to nibble on a leaf. Wow.
Maybe that is why I am so keen to pick up bay/laurel in my rat reviews.
Edit: On the “accident” note, an Indian dish once had a full cardamom pod that I got a good bit of before wrecking my mouth and spitting it out. So if I ever say this wine has cardamom, trust me.
