‘80s were the best, man!
I made up my own term for the genre: Euro Disco Syntho Pop. There was so much great stuff if you explored away from ‘mainstream rock’ which as I recall was pretty bland at the time.
An interesting documentary made recently:
Everybody knows “Autobahn” but who remembers “I’m the operator with my pocket calculator”? Lots of fun music in the '80s!
