Indiana and our dumb a$$ liquor laws....

I saw this already… “(Depending on each Winery’s registration status, up to 92.14% of the US population can currently receive the winery direct shipments offered on Casemates. At this time the following states are excluded: Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Kentucky, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Utah.)”

BUT…

With how bass-ackwards this state is, if we back this terrible business plan, will we be in on a fair amount of the offerings? Or will it be more like one per year can be shipped to Indiana? (which I wouldn’t put past the idiots running a site like meh).

All in good fun – but seriously, will “Hoosiers by birth, Boilermaker (FOSTER FARMS BOWL CHAMPS BABY!) by grace of God” be left out in the cold on the majority of the offerings?

Same question for NJ. Hated having to ship most of the W.W purchases into Staten Island to get around our wine import laws.

- @MerlynXLII You’ll see more NJ included on here as well. But the permit wording and cost of the permit will make it so that it will never really be a constant.

Indiana is a tricky one. it has a tiered permit cost structure that caters to smaller wineries (case production). so you won’t see some the larger wineries on Casemates, but you will likely see some smallter boutique wineries. I can tell you with confidence you will a lot more inclusion of the great state of Indiana than in the previous site.

and how 'bout them Boilermakers. Joe Tiller is smiling.

- @Winedavid49 thanks for the Joe shout out. Was at the Minnesota game where the boys pulled out a W in a rain storm – in tribute to Joe. And the final drive of the FFB reminded us all of those early bowls in the Tiller era. JT is definitely smiling, probably while hunting some elk and teaching St. Peter about the bubble screen.
