Why did you leave the stelvin (screw cap) off the list? Easier to open, doesn’t use a limited resource, preserves the wine for longer… Don’t get me wrong I can appreciate the “traditional” quality of popping a cork (and the glass caps are just plain cool) - but why does everyone always knock on or flat out ignore the stelvin?
@worbx Exactly my point! I mean, the glass tops have coolness factor, but I think I’ve only purchased a bottle that had that once?! Screw tops are my stand by for when I don’t want to pay expensive bar prices on travel but when I want something that’s decent (but also no corkscrew needed) for my hotel room…
Screw cap, real cork, decanter, or what is your problem just drink it.
With my lips pressed against the opening?

@wordek Aren’t screwcaps way far ahead of glass closures in adoption? I don’t know how glass closure makes it on the list, but screw caps don’t…

I’ve pulled enough corks for two lifetimes - give me screw caps!
