@2many2no pretty much the same here, despite it being a holiday for us, but unlike so many, still have a full time job that allows me to hang out here.
Traveling just 12mi to be with friends that we haven’t spent enough time with lately. They recently lost their dog Sam, of only 10 (wonderful) years. A Lab/Shepherd mix, all black, the size of a wolf! We will bring wine (of course)… I’ve got those Vigo Rose’, Grenache Blanc, Chenin Blanc to try. Our friends: She likes the Ciders, he enjoys Coors Light (not judging). Enjoy the weekend! It’s going to be HOT and sunny.
@InFrom Phooey, the restaurant had to cnx our chx, they never got their supplies today. Luckily they weren’t the only fried chicken game in town. Nothing exotic, just good, old, buttermilk fried chicken. And still no cooking by us!

Also at the lake, just us. With takeout kimchi fried chicken, and champagne for our anniversary. No cooking + easy cleanup ftw!

The grandson is coming for a couple of nights so the 'rents can party. Tube Steaks on the Grill!
