I’ve always thought it’s too close to ruining the magic of Christmas for little kids. We still watch it, but it’s really close.

So my wife is from Owosso, MI and every year they run a “Polar Express” steam train featuring the actual engine that inspired the book (linky). The railroad runs about 200 yards from my wife’s childhood home; snapped this a couple years ago.
