Granted, a good Cabernet is amazing, but there are more drinkable Zinfandels than there are Cabernets. I always say; “It’s hard to make a bad Zinfandel”.

Agree, but those good Cabs are hard to beat. I never remember conversations around here saying a poor Zin tastes like wet garbage, or rotten cantaloupe, like some of the Cabs, but those good ones are show stoppers.
