I picked Pinot Blanc because it’s relatively unknown compared to the others and needs some love. But my first impression on the list, was “what, no Sauvignon Blanc?”
Also, I’ll take the Pinot Gris over Pinot Grigio, same thing essentially, but “Gris” tends to be different style, more from Northwest and “Grigio” is usually California in most cases a bit sweeter. The fact they are the same thing gets confusing. For example, Italy just calls it Pinot Grigio (yes, Grigio is an Italian word), but often it’s in a fairly dry austere style, which is what I like. But I’m hesitant on a California one, at least unless we get good rat reviews!
@CruelMelody interesting…had to check it out. Then I was going to ask if similar to a Riesling but it said more like Sauvignon Blanc

@pmarin I also would have chosen Sauvignon Blanc if it was on the list.
@Mark_L @pmarin would have done Pinot Gris if it was an option too…

@kitkat34 yeah it’s also a high acid white - great with food. Not grassy or grapefruity like Sauvignon Blanc though. Usually lower alcohol too!
Chenin blanc
@DanOR
Good call!
No love for Roussanne and Marsanne?
I still have some of both (from Wellington) and they are drinking wonderfully.
@kawichris650 love em both, but I never feel “summer” from those. They feel “fall”
I like the white blends with a little sweetness,
like Conundrum.
Drinking Pedroncelli Friends floating in the pool this evening.
Riesling. One of my wife’s favorite varietals, and by far her favorite white.
