For all of you answering correctly with Devil’s Food Cake, do yourself a favor and make BraveTart of Serious Eats version. I have made the 3 layered version down to cupcakes. It is a fantastic cake.
Devil’s food is better, my opinion, but even the Devil’s Food is an Angel Cake, as he is a fallen Angel.
