Go back another decade and I was the lone Irish guy in my group of Italian friends. At 14 years old, we were wearing platform shoes, bell bottom dress pants, silk shirts half unbuttoned and gold necklaces with large, ornate crosses. We must have thought we were really something!
I used to wear a small gold chain necklace. But hey it was the 80s. It was the Miami Vice era, baby! But no, no gold initials.
