TASTING NOTES:
“This Syrah based red blend is crafted in the frizzante style with about 2/3rds of the bubbly character of traditional sparkling wines. This effervescence enhances the ripe fruit flavors and aromas, especially with the absence of heavy tannins often found in red wines.” (AbV 12.8%, pH 3.3, TA 6.8 g/L, RS 2.6)

What’s the deal with frizzy hair? The cause is moisture build-up inside the hairs, caused by raised cuticles. Imagine a pinecone where all the layers are still closed. That’s how straight hair tends to be. Now imagine a pinecone where the layers are starting to spread. That’s what raised cuticles are like. This allows water to get inside hair and expands it. When your hair is dry and the air is humid, your hair will pull in moisture from around it through raised cuticles. Hard to prevent. The oils from your scalp can move down the hair and close those cuticles up, but it isn’t guaranteed, especially if you’ve got curlier hair. Conditioners can help, using things like silicone as a synthetic barrier. Stuff like that can build up, however, and shouldn’t be used frequently. No way to fully prevent frizzing, but it’s not that bad of a thing.
