Founded in 1993 by Bill Arbios, the Arbios Cellars winery focused on entirely Cabernet Sauvignon that was grown in Alexander Valley of Sonoma. But what is this? Today’s varietal… it is a Merlot. Well, in 2000, Bill made a second label called Praxis that he could use to experiment with different varietals and terroirs. Whether his flagship Cabernet or one of his Praxis endeavors, Bill’s wines are the product of his devotion to fine and unique terroirs, favoring the use of a single vineyard for each vintage.
