About Suncé Winery & Vineyard
Founded 1991 in the Russian River Valley, Suncé produces small lots of rare varietals, vineyard designates, and classic blends. Taking their name from the Serbo-Croatian word for “sun,” Suncé can be found just off of River and Olivet Road in Santa Rosa taking in that tranquil Sonoma sun. Visit, if you’re in the area, and see the barrels, have a picnic, perhaps play some bocce ball on Suncé’s serene estate. Above all else, try the wine.

The Five Seasons

TASTING NOTES:
Barbera - “Opulent cherry/plum fruit surrounded by a velvety mouth-feel is layered by hints of dark deep berry, cinnamon spice, and vanilla.”

Teroldego - “The Sunce Teroldego is a noble wine asserting itself through a nose of marzipan and roses. The lush flavors of ripe loganberries and mulling spices are followed by a smooth, coated finish.”

Les Trois Amis - “…Tuscan-style blend of 37% Sangiovese, 33% Merlot, and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Merlot adds an element of velvety plum fruit with hints of clove and cinnamon, the Cabernet Sauvignon adds a dimension of tannin and structure, while the Sangiovese chimes in with flavors of black cherries with notes of white pepper offering a long, silky finish.”

Tres Italianos - “This classic Italian-style blend contains 50% Primitivo, 30% Teroldego, and 20% Negroamaro. Rich and velvety in aromas of dewy lichen and saddle, with taste components of black plums, currants, and truffles.”

Old Vine Zin - “Juicy raspberry fruit… wafts of licorice and cinnamon saturate the senses. Pleasant [scents of] loganberries and faint prune jam. In the mouth, there’s a tease of a sweet spot, though it finishes dry, lingering for a while with aftertastes… of molasses and baker’s chocolate…”
