I once donated a 6 year vertical of Scott Harvey Mountain Selection Barbera to a fundraiser, x2 bottles of each vintage. Unfortunately I was unable to participate in the fun.
I have been to a few to say the least, we used to before COVID do a Parker 100 point wine dinner once a year lots of disappointments there ha but some great wines. Did a California wines from the 60’s 70’s and 80’s that might have been my favorite. Single producer ones are usually great but I think my favorites are the 10 year retrospectives. Used to do 4 different of these dinners every year with a group but it seems COVID ruined everything
A few years back Tim hosted a 25 year Corison vertical in OC that Cathy came down for that was pretty amazing.
There are pics, somewhere…

@ScottW58 retrospectives sounds like my sort of thing. I’d call them “wine entering a prime drinking window”!
It was a 27 year vertical!
@klezman
Wow!
@klezman that’s amazing
