You presume I pay ANY attention to that? I’ve found, for my household’s tastes, the PH and tannins have FAR more reliability in predicting if we’ll like something, (PH and RS for white and rose, too!)

That’s what works for you and that’s great! Personally, I find more differences in flavor profiles based on terroir and Willamette Valley Pinots are definitely my favorite on the list. Second favorite would be “Other” for Santa Lucia Highlands.
